Two Columbia students were recently recognized for achieving top scores in the University of Waterloo’s PASCAL and EUCLID math contests. Alexandr Kim achieved the highest score in CIC for the Grade 9 PASCAL math contest and Zhi Wang achieved the top score out of 138 participants CIC for the Grade 12 EUCLID Math contest. Both students placed within the top 25% of all students globally…

In just a few days Columbia will celebrate its second graduation ceremony of the year. We are looking forward to welcoming close to 100 parents and guests who will join us to share this special occasion. The ceremony will take place in the Ainsliewood Gym at 11 am and will be followed by a reception in the Living Wall Lounge at 12:30 pm.…

Columbia honoured its Junior Middle School (JMS) students on June 18th during the annual Year End Awards Ceremony. The Ceremony highlighted the students’ accomplishments from the past year and recognized those who excelled in both academics and extracurriculars. On Wednesday, June 10th, Columbia’s Junior Middle School (JMS) students starred in their own production of Aesop’s Fables as their year-end drama project. Held in the Ainsliewood Drama room, students held two afternoon shows where they performed a selection of the famous fables for their peers, teachers, and staff. (more…)

Columbia International College was recently recognized for its business contributions to the City of Hamilton. Yesterday, Executive Director, Mr. Clement Chan, accepted a Business Appreciation Award on behalf of the school during a City Council meeting last night at Hamilton’s City Hall. Columbia was recognized in the Large Business Category for Ward 8 and was presented with a plaque by Mayor Fred Eisenberger and Councillor Terry Whitehead. (more…)
